A decent standout Mediterranean joint in the heart of Little Tokyo worth checking out if Japanese food isn't what you're feeling while in the area.

Spacious seating inside and out, with definitely a bar vibe with the TVs on in the background. Service is fairly quick and attentive, with the bartender quick to make recommendations for indecisive me on what would be good on a Sunday afternoon.

There's lots of great locally crafted beers and booze on tap to match their diverse menu. The menu isn't what you'd typically expect for Mediterranean food. However, given that they're inspired by street food, it's a great spin on it with lots of variety and customization to match every taste.

I ordered the street cart fries with mixed meat added on. Boy was it loaded! There's definitely a lot going on, and honestly sometimes the flavors were a tad overpowering. However, it was still a fantastic meal that was generously portioned with plenty leftover for later. Each bite was immediately hit with the garlic aioli and feta cheese, followed up by the crunchiness of the fries and richness of the mixed meat. The olives, peppers, tomatoes and onion were great in cutting through the many flavors and added a touch of lightness to an otherwise heavy meal.

There's also a small condiment bar off to the side with a couple of sauces, as well as a self-serve water station.

Overall, worth checking out for wanting to try something different!

I've ordered Spitz on ubereats multiple times in the past and have been to their Los Feliz location but lately I've been going to the Little Tokyo location and have had great experiences. Juan, the bartender, is really friendly and good vibes. I love so many of the dishes here like the street cart wrap, street cart fries, their salads, and their amazing fries (regular & sweet potato)! Most recently my fiancé and I came here 5 min before happy hour ended and we were able to place an order right away since the HH menu was simple. The street cart fries were amazing, and the drinks (they have a full bar!) were great too! Highly recommend trying out Spitz if you've never tried it. :)

Ordered lunch from here through DoorDash and I was not disappointed. The portion of the Doner basket is huge! Probably could've shared and still have been satisfied. I got the meat mix so I could try a little bit of everything. This meal was absolutely packed with flavors and textures; it was a great experience. I loved the crunch factor that the garbanzos and chips added and the fries although on the bottom were not soggy which is very surprising. It is a little strong on tang since you have feta, olives, pepperoncini, AND balsamic vinaigrette. It was borderline too much but I still enjoyed it. The meat was nice and soft but I did expect more of a charbroil/grilled aspect to it. The texture was almost soggy. I hated the falafel though; it was almost too hard to bite into and super dry on the inside. Overall it was great and I look forward to trying other menu items as well as visiting in person

We stumbled into Spitz on a Saturday evening and we're happy we did! We thoroughly enjoyed the vegan Doner basket, which is perfect for sharing!!

The staff were super friendly too. There is both indoor and outdoor seating but the vibes indoors were better the evening we went (and it was much cooler ~temp wise~ inside tbh).

It is easily accessible via the new Metro Little Tokyo/Arts District.
